* Oversee engineering design assurance, ensuring all designs are safe, compliant, and meet project requirements, with all changes managed through formal MOC processes.
* Act as the key interface between internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and project outcomes.
* Ensure all work meets required quality standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise impact on delivery, cost, and schedule.

About you:

* A proactive mindset, with the ability to spot issues early and take decisive action.
* A continuous improvement approach, always looking for better ways of working and delivering value.
* A confident leader who can build strong, effective relationships across teams and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and organised approach to working.
* Comfortable working with a range of IT systems and tools.
* A solid understanding of organisational policies, procedures, and compliance expectations.

* Degree-qualified & relevant experience in an engineering discipline.
* Strong breadth of knowledge across multi-discipline engineering practices and standards.
* Proven track record in project management within engineering environments.
* Experience in design review and technical assurance processes.
* Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and application.
* Experience managing teams and addressing people-related issues effectively.
* Professional project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) desirable.
* Proven ability to operate effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams.

In return, we offer a competitive salary plus excellent benefits, including pension, healthcare, an employee assistance programme, as well as a range of flexible benefits including Cycle2Work and employee discounts.
