Apprenticeship Coach

As we grow, we're looking for a practical and passionate Apprenticeship Coach to take ownership of our apprenticeship delivery and help shape its future.
Purpose of the Role
To lead and deliver all aspects of our apprenticeship provision – from onboarding and coaching learners to working with employers, overseeing compliance, and ensuring timely achievement. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with learners while also managing the wider operational and quality framework of apprenticeship delivery.
Key Responsibilities
•Learner Coaching & Support
oGuide learners through their apprenticeship journey, ensuring progression and timely completion.
oSupport learners with evidence collection, portfolio development, and EPA preparation.
•Programme Oversight
oMonitor learner progress against ILR, OTJ hours, and gateway milestones.
oLiaise regularly with employers to ensure training aligns with business needs.
oConduct progress reviews and resolve any issues affecting learner performance or engagement.
•Quality Assurance & Compliance
oMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with DfE funding rules.
oEnsure all delivery meets Ofsted expectations and internal quality standards.
oSupport self-assessment and quality improvement planning activities.
•Operational Contribution
oWork closely with team to improve systems, resources, & learner experience.
oProvide regular reports on learner progress and programme performance.
oContribute to curriculum design and employer engagement where relevant.
Skills & Experience Required
•Experience delivering apprenticeships (coaching or assessing)
•Ideal if prior experience of either Business Analyst (L4) and/or Supply Chain Practitioner (L3)
•A coaching mindset – able to motivate, guide, and develop learners from diverse backgrounds.
•Understanding of DfE funding requirements, ILR, OTJ hours, and EPA processes.
•Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
•Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
•Relevant assessor or teaching qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent) is desirable.
