Product Compliance Officer - Bristol Area (On-site / Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
We are working with a growing technology business specialising in high-performance computing hardware they are looking for a Product Compliance Officer to take ownership of global product compliance across its server and hardware portfolio.
This is a key role ensuring products meet all regulatory, safety, environmental, and industry requirements before and after they reach market.
You’ll act as the central compliance expert, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and external certification partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage global compliance for enterprise hardware products
* Interpret and apply international regulatory standards
* Lead product testing and certification with approved laboratories
* Ensure compliance is embedded early in product design
* Review and approve technical files, test reports, and product labelling
Required Experience
* Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field
* 5+ years in product compliance, certification, or regulatory roles
* Experience within electronics or computer hardware manufacturing
* Knowledge of global IT/ICT regulatory frameworks
* Familiarity with safety, EMC, and environmental standards
Desirable
* Experience with servers, data centre, or high-power computing equipment
* Knowledge of IEC/EMC immunity standards
* Lithium battery or PSU compliance exposure
* ISO quality/environmental systems knowledge
* Multi-region certification experience (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
