Automotive EV Propulsion Integration through PiL/ViL Testing, Verification & Validation, DOE's and Execution, Vehicle DV Planning & Execution, Rig data analysis, 8D Problem Solving, Strong engineering first principles.
* Design validation, development, integration, and testing of electric propulsion systems, including high-voltage (HV) power systems, electric drive units (EDUs) and Battery
* Design validation through PiL (Powertrain in the Loop) and ViL (Vehicle in the Loop) testing, ensuring the system meets performance and regulatory requirements
* System architecture, software development, calibration, and integration, contributing to the overall EV driving experience
Your responsibilities:
* Developing and executing PiL/ViL test plans
* Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
* Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
* Participating in design reviews and providing feedback
* Contributing to the development of new EV technologies
* Working with software engineers to develop and calibrate control systems
* Ensuring the system meets regulatory and safety requirements
Your Profile
* Good experience in BEV propulsion system, knowledge of HV systems
* Proven experience with PiL/ViL testing and validation
* Test planning and understanding of test standards
* Test data analysis from rigs and compliance to test standards
* Ensure safety functionality
* Understand VSC & calibration knowledge / sensor control
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
* Exposure to AVL / Horiba test rigs
* Problem solving / 8D
* Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
