You will lead a thriving department with purpose and care - shaping an engaging, high-quality curriculum and fostering exceptional teaching so that all students develop the skills, resilience and ambition to succeed in Maths and beyond.

What You’ll Do
* Lead a committed Maths team, “providing motivation and direction for the whole team” while modelling outstanding classroom practice.
* Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons rooted in Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction and our Excellent Teaching Model.
* Use high-quality assessment and data to secure strong progress for all learners and plan effective interventions.
* Design and refine a well-sequenced, fully resourced curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
* Mentor ECTs and support colleagues through coaching, professional development and performance management.
* Work closely with senior leaders to drive improvement and uphold our ethos of The Best in Everyone.
* Champion positive attitudes to learning and ensure every student makes at least expected progress.
