Permanent Warehouse Supervisor – Warrington – £35,000 per annum Location: Appleton Thorn, Warrington Job Type: Permanent Salary: £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 12noon About the RoleWe’re recruiting for a Permanent Warehouse Supervisor to join one of the region’s leading companies in their sector, based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for supporting warehouse leads, warehouse operatives and day-to-day warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, support and manage Warehouse Leads and associated warehouse staff. Promote a positive working environment and maintain high standards of performance and conduct. Ensure employees work in accordance with company policies and the Employee Handbook. Ensure the efficient flow of products throughout the warehouse and stores. Monitor and improve warehouse processes to maximise productivity and efficiency. Ensure labour resources and equipment are used effectively. Maintain accurate warehouse records and ensure systems are updated daily. Ensure all stock is stored safely and correctly within designated locations. Liaise with Warehouse Area Leads to manage third-party processes including powder coating, galvanising and pick and pack operations. Work closely with other operational departments to support the smooth running of the site. Report warehouse, despatch or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Manager promptly. Maintain high housekeeping standards across all warehouse areas. Ensure fire exits, walkways and emergency access points remain clear at all times. Promote safe working practices and compliance with health and safety requirements. Maintain confidentiality regarding company and employee information. Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role. Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role. Strong people management and communication skills. Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and operational processes. Ability to organise workloads and support team performance. Health and safety awareness within a warehouse or operational environment. Reliable, professional and able to work to high standards. Benefits Permanent position.
