We are currently supporting a highly successful and rapidly growing business in Chesterfield, who are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In essence, this role is responsible for the successful completion of all payroll activities to a high standard and on a timely basis.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure all employees are paid accurately, and to payroll deadlines
* Complete payroll processing and reconciliation
* Complete various payroll reporting, including gross to net reports and analysis of deductions
* Ensure payments are loaded onto the bank
* Ensure all payroll deductions are made accurately and the appropriate taxes are paid to HMRC
* Process expenses, and ensure they have been approved / paid within policy
* Raise advances and other ad hoc payments
* Quickly respond to pay queries
Person Specification:
* Previous experience of working in a payroll position
* Experience with Sage 50 payroll & Time Management Systems
* Familiar with Excel and MS office
* Able to prioritise own work and work under pressure to deadlines
