We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Document Controller to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in London. This is an office based role supporting the Estimating Department ensuring accurate management, control and distribution of project documentation throughout the tendering process.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain all incoming and outgoing project documentation for the estimating team
* Ensure all tender documents, drawings, and specifications are correctly logged, tracked and stored
* Distribute documentation to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner
* Maintain document control systems in line with company procedures
* Assist estimators with document retrieval, version control and filing
* Monitor and update document registers and trackers
* Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers regarding document submissions
* Ensure document compliance with project and company standards
* Support the wider pre construction team with administrative tasks where required
Desirable
* Experience supporting an estimating or pre-construction team
* Understanding of M&E or construction project workflows
* Strong Document Control experience, intrested in estimating
