We’re working with a welcoming primary school in South Gloucestershire (Little Stoke area) that’s looking for a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fixed-term role until August 2027, with the potential to extend for the right person, a great opportunity to settle into a school and really make your mark.
What’s the role?
You’ll be supporting pupils across Year 5 and Year 2, working both 1:1 and in small groups to help children access learning and build confidence.
Your day might include:
* Supporting literacy and numeracy in the classroom
* Helping pupils with SEND stay engaged and make progress
* Contributing to EHCP reviews and tailored support plans
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
* Getting involved in the wider school day, from displays to trips

What you’ll bring
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Experience working with children

Bonus points if you’ve got experience with SEND, EAL, or pastoral support, but it’s your attitude that really counts.
