Job Specification: Sales Team Lead - Cyber Security SaaS (Hybrid, Leeds)
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Team Lead to head our growing commercial team and accelerate revenue across our clients cyber security SaaS portfolio. This role blends hands-on sales leadership with strategic ownership of pipeline growth, team performance, and customer success. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales culture, scaling our processes, and driving adoption of our security solutions across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
This is a hybrid role based in Leeds, requiring regular collaboration with the team on-site.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
*
Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs and Account Executives to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
*
Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance tracking.
*
Onboard new team members and uphold a high-performance sales culture.
*
Provide real-time feedback and coaching on calls, demos, and deal progression.
Sales Strategy & Execution
*
Own and refine the sales playbook, messaging, and go-to-market motions for our cyber security SaaS products.
*
Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting; ensure CRM hygiene and accurate data in HubSpot/Salesforce.
*
Collaborate with Marketing to shape lead-gen campaigns and optimise funnel conversion.
*
Work closely with Product and Customer Success to align on solution value, market needs, and customer outcomes.
*
Drive outbound and inbound sales excellence, identifying new verticals and growth opportunities.
Revenue & Performance Management
*
Lead the team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
*
Analyse performance data to identify trends, blockers, and opportunities for improvement.
*
Support AEs on strategic deals, negotiation, and deal closure.
*
Improve win rates through structured qualification (MEDDIC/BANT) and value-driven selling.

Required Skills & Experience
Essential
*
Proven experience leading or mentoring a B2B SaaS sales team (Team Lead, Senior AE, Sales Manager or similar).

Strong knowledge of cyber security, cloud security, or adjacent technology sectors.
*
Demonstrated success in a target-driven environment with consistent overachievement.
*
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Experience with modern CRM and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach).
*
Strong understanding of full sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → demo → negotiation → close.
Desirable

Experience selling into mid-market/enterprise accounts.

Familiarity with channel/partner sales models.

Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST).
