TheNurse Associate we are looking for will become a central part of the largeclinical team providing a range of health care for patients from long termcondition health checks, wound care and vaccinations.

Main duties of the job
NurseAssociates in the practice are an essential part of the clinical teamsupporting the GP and nursing team while providing high quality patient carewithin their own responsibilities.
Asa Nurse Associate within the practice you will develop the skills in thefollowing areas:
Long term condition management
Wound Care
Testing (ECGs/Spirometry/Blood samples etc)
Vaccinations and injections
Cervical Screening

Job description
Job responsibilities
The post holder will work under indirectsupervision of the practice nurse team leader (or in partnership with practicenurses, assistant practitioners or GPs) to deliver routine clinical andnon-clinical duties including patient treatment and care. Treatment and careinterventions undertaken by the post holder will be delegated by a registeredpractitioner. The post holder is responsible for the delivery ofgeneral practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of therole is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presentingwith a long term condition, and the provision of preventative health care tothe practice population. They will work collaboratively within the generalpractice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy andprocedures.
