Job Description
3. Prepare and manage accurate financial statements and reports.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial legislation.
6. Handle payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes.
7. Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
8. Work closely with external auditors during annual audits.
9. Monitor cash flow and optimise financial performance.
10. Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Company Accountant should have:
11. A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE).
12. Proven experience in an accounting and finance role.
13. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
17. Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is desirable.
