We're delighted to be supporting a well established successful business seeking a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their finance team.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the processing and payment of purchase invoices onto the company accounting package and for delivering high quality, robust financial information to the business.
Principal Duties
Purchase Ledger
* Maintaining vendor accounts.
* Processing of purchase orders, goods received notices & supplier invoices.
* Production of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc multi-currency payment runs.
* Production of the weekly payment run.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Reviewing aged creditors, resolving aged and incorrect items and controlling the month end closing process.
* Reconciliation of insurance, council tax and all other standing order accounts.
* Ensuring supplier queries are dealt with in a timely manner and resolved correctly and efficiently.
* Filing of invoices and remittances.
General
* Collate and provide accurate information as necessary to aid sound decision making.
* Point of contact for external auditors.
* Undertake any other tasks as reasonably required by the Finance Manager or senior management.
