Customer Service Clerk – Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (initial training). Shifts will later move to 07:00 – 18:00 or 11:00 – 22:00 once training is complete.
Optional weekend work: Saturday & Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00 (with alternative Wednesday and Thursday rest days).
Contract Length: Ongoing
About the Role
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Clerk on behalf of a well-established business based in the Jewellery Quarter area of Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and customer-focused team, providing high-quality support to clients through a range of communication channels.
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Clerk
1. Managing customer queries via email, live chat, and phone
2. Providing excellent service across multiple communication channels
3. Handling and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
4. Performing administration and data entry tasks accurately
5. Maintaining and updating customer information on internal systems
Skills & Experience Required
6. Previous experience in a customer support or service role (jewellery industry experience beneficial but not essential)
7. Salesforce or other CRM system knowledge
8. Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
9. Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills
10. Experience handling complaints effectively
