 
        
        We are looking for an experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to join The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We would also consider a secondment.
Responsibilities
 * Ensure comprehensive, high‑quality and efficient administrative processes for setting up studies, organising approvals, data management, and full regulatory compliance.
 * Manage financial aspects of study set‑up costs and income recovery in partnership with the R&I finance team.
 * Assist the Clinical Trials Manager in supervising day‑to‑day activities of administrative staff.
 * Line‑manage and conduct performance management for administrative staff.
 * Coordinate and develop training and presentations to reflect the objectives of the NIHR Manchester CRF, Research & Innovation Division and Trust.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Attained a degree in a science or health‑related discipline, or a degree in another field with experience in clinical trials, or relevant experience.
 * Excellent interpersonal, IT and organisational skills; strong written and verbal communication.
 * Ability to work independently and as a committed team worker.
 * Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel to other Trust sites as required.
 * Understanding of medical terminology and essential administrative and IT skills.
The post holder will need to be able to work flexibly and independently as well as being a committed team worker, and also be willing to travel to other sites in the Trust as required.
