Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
As an HR Business Partner, you will develop effective partnerships with the leadership team, influencing and supporting senior business leaders and people managers to drive their people plan and deliver improved business results. You will lead a small team of Advisors, providing end-to-end people-related advice and services across the full range of human resources practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Partnering: Contribute to the development and execution of a people plan aligned with the Agency People Strategy.
* Talent Acquisition and Management: Develop and execute resourcing and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
* Reward and Performance Management: Implement the Agency Remuneration and reward strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with business goals.
* Employee Experience: Coach leadership to utilise the Agency service delivery model and ensure effective HR operations.
* Employment Relations: Coach leaders on managing complex ER cases, and champion employee engagement.
* Organisational Design and Development: Partner with our Learning and OD team and with leadership to design and execute organisational and people plans.
* Learning and Leadership Development: Identify skills gaps, develop solutions, and coach leaders to build capability and improve performance.

Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Proven experience in HR generalist roles, with strong knowledge of HR and OD principles and practices.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with business groups.
* A deep understanding of the business and the ability to align HR strategies to business needs.
