We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Hewell, a category B Prison located in Redditch.
In this role, you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
* Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 18:30
* Weekends and Bank Holidays: 08:30 - 17:30
You will work a fixed rolling shift pattern, working 14-15 days per month:
* Week 1: 4 days including weekends
* Week 2: 3 days weekdays only

We offer a full-time position with an annual salary between £27,247 - £32,346, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
* Assist with the provision and delivery of a safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, maintaining security at all times.
* Hold direct patient contact as part of a comprehensive healthcare package based on the prison service's needs.
* Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications required
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent
* Up-to-date CPD
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
