We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team for the rest of the academic year, to initially support our Year 6 children.
This role will initially run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension depending upon funding.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning across our school. You will work closely with class teachers to:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, assisting with their academic and social development.
* Help create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
* Prepare classroom resources and displays.
* Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities (SEND), implementing tailored interventions as required.
* Assist with the supervision of children during break times and lunchtimes.
* Contribute to the positive behaviour management within the classroom and school.
* Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals as needed (under the guidance of the class teacher).
* Undertake administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of the classroom.
