Sample Coordinator
As a Sample Coordinator at our Slough site, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials that support the development and manufacture of life‑changing therapies. What you will do
* Coordinate the receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of key reagents, manufacturing samples and pilot samples across multiple buildings.
* Manage outbound shipments by preparing materials and working closely with the shipping department.
* Support sample lifecycle activities including scheduling and completing sample disposals in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
* Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels and highlight gaps in service or supply.
* Prepare key reagent stocks, including labelling, aseptic aliquoting, inventory registration, storage and supply.
* Oversee consumable stock levels and ensure cold‑storage facilities are maintained and regularly checked.
* Process batch documentation, including scanning and archiving to designated systems and network locations.
What we are looking for
* Understanding of GMP principles and a strong commitment to compliance and data integrity.
* Experience using sample management or laboratory information systems (e.g., LIMS) is beneficial.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing operational needs.
* Scientific background or relevant laboratory experience is advantageous.
