Overview
Our client, a leader in the marine industry, is seeking experienced Marine Pipefitters to join a specialist team working on the build of a 36m DNV class aluminium survey vessel. Due to the technical requirements of the project, previous marine or shipbuilding experience is essential.
Responsibilities
* Installation of a range of pipework systems, including:
* Mapress CuNi - DN20 to DN50
* Mapress Stainless Steel - DN20 to DN65
* Geberit FlowFit - DN20 to DN50
* George Fischer ABS - DN25 to DN50
* Installation and securing of mechanical ventilation spiral ducting up to DN100
* Ensuring all work meets DNV, safety, and marine engineering standards
* Working effectively as part of a small, focused installation team
Qualifications
* Proven experience in marine pipefitting or shipbuilding environments
* Competency in installing Mapress CuNi, Mapress Stainless Steel, Geberit FlowFit, and George Fischer ABS systems
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
* Reliable, professional, and ready to start immediately
Additional Information
* Immediate start available
* Potential for back shift work once onboarded
* Contract expected to run for approximately 6 weeks
* Approx. 50 hours available per week
* Competitive hourly rate £27-£31, dependent on experience
