A respected, family-run law firm with offices in Essex is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its thriving dispute resolution team. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, they will provide high-quality, strategic legal advice to a wide client base. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of the firm while continuing to develop as a litigator in a supportive and well-structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling litigation matters including landlord and tenant disputes, contract breaches, debt recovery, insolvency, and general commercial disputes
* Advising both commercial and individual clients with a practical, business-minded approach
* Managing files independently from instruction through to resolution
* Building strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
* Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
* Meeting monthly performance targets and KPIs
* Ensuring compliance with legal and procedural obligations
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
* Ideally 4+ years PQE in civil and/or commercial litigation
* Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
* Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
* High standard of professionalism and ethics
* Motivated to progress their career within a growing firm
