About the role
It's a new era of Bottled Imagination. We've been around for over three years now, we've got a solid number of pretty cool campaigns under our belt, we've won multiple "Best New Agency" awards and now we just want to be "the best". We're looking for a super proactive, hard working and creative PR Manager to join our team. You will be given autonomy to manage 4-5 clients and lead industry leading PR campaigns. You'll be in one of our two PR pods, working alongside other PR managers, under Account Directors and mentoring junior members of the team to help us on our journey.
Aims of the role
You'll be the driving force behind four or five client accounts, making sure they get the full Bottled Imagination treatment - bold ideas, smart strategy, and lightning speed reactive newsjacking that make them say "how did they do that?"
You'll be the person who never stops asking "so what?" - because just talking about links isn't your thing. You'll dig into the "why" behind the wins, creating reports that prove real impact. You'll share those insights through ongoing reports and monthly sessions/QBRs that actually mean something (not just tick boxes).
You'll also be shaping the next generation of PRs - mentoring execs teaming up to smash KPIs, retain clients, and do industry leading work.
Your day to day
You'll be steering the PR strategy for your clients, making sure every story we tell is relevant, lands in the right places, and gets people talking for the right reasons.
You'll be signing off press releases, helping build seeding lists, and creating in-depth outreach strategies.
You'll be front and centre on client comms (with an Account Director by your side), we want the clients to know you and want to work with you. You'll build those relationships where clients trust your instincts and love your ideas.
You'll also lead brainstorms that get people genuinely excited - collaborative, creative sessions where weird and wonderful ideas are always welcome.
You'll be working with clients across the UK, US and beyond - US experience is a bonus but not essential.
The package
A salary of £30-38K depending on experience
3pm finishes every Friday (works out as another 15 days off per year)
25 days annual leave allowance, plus bank holidays, plus a Christmas shutdown (this year we finish at 12pm Xmas Eve, back on the 5th January)
Enhanced parental leave
Learn Anything budget - anything (not work related) you've been wanting to learn for ages? We'll give you some money towards it.
Imagination Incentive - got a business idea? We'll give you a budget to try it out and some guidance too.
NOTE: This role is Hybrid and candidates will need to be able to work from our Ancoats, Manchester office on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
