Shunter Driver – Southampton (Nights)
Shift: 6 days per week
Hours: 11:30pm – 8:00am
Location: Hedge End, Southampton
We are currently recruiting an experienced Shunter Driver to join our busy night operation in Southampton. This is a full-time opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused driver.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely manoeuvring HGVs around the yard and between bays
2. Working closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow
3. Completing all required vehicle checks and adhering to site safety procedures
4. Using tachograph equipment correctly and keeping paperwork up to standard
Requirements:
5. Valid CPC
6. Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi-tacho) card
7. Previous shunting or yard driving experience preferred
8. Strong attention to safety and detail
9. Able to work night shifts reliably, 6 days per week
