Recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services group, we are seeking a skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join a well-established Group Risk Management function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in strengthening the risk culture and framework of a prominent investment platform provider with strong market presence and regulatory standing.
About the Role
Our client’s Group Risk Management (GpRM) function oversees all risk activities across the business, ensuring regulatory compliance, strategic alignment, and operational resilience. As Senior Risk Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in driving the development and maturity of the Group’s risk management processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
This is a highly visible role, offering the chance to support strategic decision-making, shape risk frameworks, and interact with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain risk management tools and frameworks
* Support embedding a strong risk culture across the business
* Maintain and refine risk appetite statements, metrics, and escalation points
* Coordinate timely and accurate risk reporting to boards and committees
* Facilitate regular risk and control reviews with business units
* Monitor and enhance data quality in the Group's GRC system
* Contribute to ICARA/ORSA processes across multiple regulatory regimes
* Track and interpret regulatory changes impacting risk management
* Mentor junior analysts and support the broader risk team development
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in risk management within financial services
* Practical knowledge of risk frameworks, RCSAs, and regulatory risk reporting
* Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering ability
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Strong written skills, with experience contributing to board-level reporting
* Clear communicator with ability to summarise complex risk data
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills
* Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
* Skilled in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
* Collaborative, adaptable, and highly motivated
