Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and be proficient in various office software applications. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing essential support to management and staff while maintaining a professional environment.
Duties
* Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date.
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to facilitate easy access to information.
* Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, coordinating logistics as necessary.
* Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
* Handle clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, managing office supplies, and supporting other administrative functions as needed.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required.
* Good knowledge of sage accounting
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
