Role:
* Lead the design and execution of comprehensive modelling programme focused on livestock viruses
* Collaborate with field and laboratory scientists to identify key research questions
* Develop and apply mathematical modelling methodologies
* Writing small scale grants
* Providing statistics and advice
* Working independently on projects
* Potential to be line managing and leading a small team
Requirements:
* Proven experience with mathematical modelling techniques
* PhD or relevant in biological sciences or with a substantial mathematical modelling component
* Three peer reviewing publications is essential
* Experience collaborating with laboratory and field scientists
* Experience of writing and managing small-scale grants
