Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the redevelopment of 10 dock at Devonport Dockyard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Managing commercial resources (finance) to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management.
* Providing commercial expertise, including the production and submission of valuations, claims, and budget monitoring.
* Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks while implementing Kier Group policies for risk management.
* Supporting the authorization and submission of project variations, and authorizing contracts, subcontracts, and material orders.
* Maximizing cash flow through the control, measurement, and valuation of work, including invoicing customers and certifying payments to suppliers.
What We Are Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a Quantity Surveying degree.
* Possess a CSCS card.
* Are a professional member of RICS or similar.
