Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day to day financial operations across multiple entities within the group
• Oversee monthly management accounts, balance sheet integrity and cashflow forecasting
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, VAT and year end processes, managing external advisors where required
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision making and long term planning
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across business units
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non finance stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and digital tools
• Support system enhancements, integrations and wider technology initiatives
• Lead, develop and scale a small finance team while fostering a high performance culture
Your Experience
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a multi entity, SME or fast growth environment preferred
• Strong grounding in financial reporting, controls and cashflow management
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a hands on, autonomous role with broad responsibilities
• Clear communicator, able to present financial information in a practical and engaging way
• Proactive, driven and adaptable, with a focus on delivering outcomes rather than process
