We are currently looking for a Repair & Calibration Technician (f/m/x) to support our team based in Stafford, UK.
What's it all about?
* you will perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades on OMICRON test equipment according to internal procedures and quality standards
* you will maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and calibrations for ISO and internal compliance
* you will participate in continuous training programs to keep up with product developments and testing technologies
* you ensure that the service area is organized, clean, and meets ESD safety requirements
* you will handle device in and outbound logistics
* you will manage spare parts inventory
What are we looking for?
* you have an A Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician / Metrology Technician Apprenticeship or a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, or a comparable education
* you have minimum 2 years of experience in service, repair, or calibration of electronic or electrical equipment (preferably in a high-precision or test equipment environment)
* you bring a good understanding of analog/digital electronics, test methodologies, and measurement principles
* you are proficient with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
* you enjoy working independently and in a team-oriented environment
* you are willing and able to travel internationally for training and occasional support activities
* you have excellent English language skills
