Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week: Every Saturday afternoon 1pm-4pm (some flexibility) plus 9 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks). The hours can be delivered as a single role or split between term time and holidays. State preference on application.
Location: Glan Conwy
Rate of pay: £15.60 per hour
About me
I am an 11‑year‑old young man living in Glan Conwy who has autism and learning difficulties. I need a kind, patient support worker to accompany me on trips out and about, engage in fun activities, and encourage my social interaction. The role involves constant supervision for safety and may include assistance with personal care, food and drink. You will need to use your own car and provide a full driver’s licence, business insurance cover, valid MOT, and proof of business insurance coverage.

Tasks and duties
* Overall care of the young man, whilst maintaining constant supervision to ensure comfort and safety at all times.
* Personal care, including helping him to the toilet and maintaining his hygiene in a dignified manner.
* Preparing and giving him snacks and drinks, ensuring his safety while eating and drinking.
* Playing and talking with him and engaging in fun activities.
* Driving him to trips out and about, taking him to places such as the beach, park, etc. according to his needs and interests.
* Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and mutually agreed.
* Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
Requirements
* Valid DBS check.
* Two references.
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
* Full driver’s licence and valid MOT.
* Business insurance cover.
