Commercial Manager Fit-Out Contractor

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance / Company Vehicle

The Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a well-established fit-out contractor based in West Lothian.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with a strong background in interior fit-outs, partitioning, or commercial refurbishment. You'll play a key role in the delivery of multiple projects, manage a small commercial team, and report directly to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full commercial management of multiple fit-out and interiors projects
Prepare, manage and report on project budgets, cash flow and cost plans
Manage subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation and package performance
Review and approve applications, valuations, variations and final accounts
Mentor and support junior QS/commercial staff within the business
Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercially efficient outcomes
Provide commercial input into tenders and pre-construction planning
Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company procedures and relevant legislation
Attend site visits and client meetings as required
Report directly to the Directors on commercial performance and strategic issues

What We're Looking For
Strong experience in fit-out, interiors, drywall, or partitioning
Ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractor packages and commercial reporting
Proven track record in cost control, valuations, final accounts and contract negotiation
Experience leading or mentoring commercial / QS staff
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, site teams and Directors
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (degree, HND or similar)
Full UK driving licence
