About the role
The Concierge’s primary responsibility is to deliver a warm, welcoming front-of-house experience while supporting residents with their needs. This includes responding to lifestyle and hospitality requests, coordinating transport arrangements, and managing urgent situations with calm confidence and care.
In addition, the concierge is responsible for:
1. Ensuring common areas are presented in a neat and tidy manner, reporting any requirements for repairs, maintenance and/or special cleaning
2. Assisting with the morning opening and evening lockdown procedures ensuring security of the communal areas
3. Assisting at in-house events and functions
4. Attending to various administrative tasks
These shifts are from 5.00pm to 9.00pm weekdays, weekend shifts are from 9.00am to 5.00pm, sleepover shifts are also available.
About you
5. Experience in a customer service, concierge, or reception role, preferably within a hospitality or retirement living setting
6. Ability to follow up on requests for transport and hospitality maintain a high standard of service.
7. A positive attitude, friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
8. Ability to remain calm in urgent or emergency / urgent situation.
9. Oversee the lockdown procedure and maintain security and safety of the precinct
Requirements
10. Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate - mandatory
11. First Aid Level 2 Certificate and CPR - desirable
