Warehouse First Line Manager - Night shift Working 4 on 4 off: 7pm - 7am £17.24 per hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for two temporary to permanent Warehouse First Line Managers to join our well-established client based in Bristol. You will be working a night shift on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. Benefits Your benefits as a Warehouse First Line Manager are: Weekly pay Excellent hourly rates Permanent position for the right candidate Modern facilities Car park Day to Day Duties To lead a team of warehouse operatives, administrative assistants and inventory controllers Dealing efficiently with all customer and supplier goods entering and leaving the warehouse Health & safety, delivering environmental objectives and ensuring the highest hygiene standards Ensuring the delivery of contractual KPI's whilst maintaining good cost control within an environment of continuous improvement Checking outbound load integrity/put-away checks/location checks/warehouse checks - escalating any issues discovered Reporting MHE issues Operational support when necessary Admin support and PI support Update trackers and provide regular operational updates Maintaining and improving employee engagement, and developing relationships within the operation Continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and warehouse performance whilst minimising costs Overseeing the physical warehouse operation/receiving and labelling/picking, put-away & moves/outbound loading/container tipping Assigning daily deployment for warehouse operatives (dependant on workload) Coaching new starters Essential Skills Lead by example and demonstrate company values at all times Good communication skills, written and verbal Ensure the security of Company and customer assets are maintained at all times Self motivated and disciplined in approach to work The ability to work under pressure Complete ISOHH training course & various other online training programs Experience in a fast-paced warehouse operation, operating under pressure and to deadlines Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and operational principles Team leadership and coaching skills, coupled with the ability to drive, implement and maintain change Experience of working in a business which is highly focussed on health, safety and environment Good communication skills (written and verbal) with all aspects of the business.
