The Role:
As a Marketing and Sales Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to boost sales and expand our customer base.
- Curating and managing our online marketing initiatives, including coordinating relevant marketing campaigns.
- Overseeing various business platforms, including e-commerce, sales, social media, and advertising channels.
- Spearheading the development of marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, website updates, and social media content.
- Identifying new business opportunities and target markets through comprehensive market research and competitor analysis.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing.
- Handling customer complaints regarding product quality, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Assisting with general office administration tasks, including order processing, invoicing, and payment management.
- Providing expert advice and product information to customers as needed.
Requirements:
We're looking for someone with the following attributes and skills:
- Proficiency in eCommerce, digital marketing, and social media management.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with relevant software.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- A keen willingness to continuously learn and develop product knowledge.
- Ability to provide feedback and reports to management.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic environment.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and the pet food industry is advantageous.
Hours and pay:
- Part-time position (flexible) offering 25 – 35 hours per week.
- Competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £30,000 full-time equivalent.
