This post provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the existing team of ENT Consultants whilst delivering a sub‑specialist interest in all aspects of Paediatrics. The successful candidate will link into a progressive and enthusiastic multi‑professional team based at James Cook which provides comprehensive ENT services to the population of Teesside, South Durham and North Yorkshire.

The department comprises a fully established complete subspecialised Otorhinolaryngology service. This includes Rhinology (with anterior skull base surgery), Otology (with lateral skull base surgery), Head and Neck surgery, the sub‑regional Head and Neck oncology centre and Paediatric ENT. The department hosts the North East Cochlear Implant service. Other specialist services in the department include adult voice, paediatric voice, airway and swallow, balance disorders, tertiary audiology and a comprehensive head & neck dystonia service, offering botulinum toxin treatment. We have a paediatric surgical ward and a level 2b paediatric critical care unit. We also have a dedicated paediatric emergency department and decision unit, medical paediatric ward and a large neonatal unit.

About us
