Making your impact
* Support the shift manager in managing the shift team and providing cover for manager absence.
* Begin your management journey.
* Maintain, repair, and support the equipment detailed within the agreed Dematic scope of contract on the Customer's site.
* Ensure delivery to both Dematic and the Customer’s expectations with the aim of achieving KPI targets at all times.
* Undertake AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals.
* Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
* Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and perform subsequent repairs.
* Prioritise system faults.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Maintain quality of output at all times.
* Accurately record all work undertaken.
* Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities.
* Maintain product flow at all times.
* Keep on-site spares at optimum levels.
* Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations.
* Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures set out by the company.
Contributing to the team
* ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
* IOSH working safely (desirable).
* Experience in managing a team (desirable).
* Foundation qualifications in people management (desirable).
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
* Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals & drawings.
* Basic control systems and problem-solving techniques.
* Basic understanding of PLC equipment.
* Experience working at height and willingness.
* Experience with conveyor systems.
* Good PC literacy.
* Knowledge of PPM schedules.
* Understanding of FEM and BS standards in automated warehouse industry.
* Continuous improvement mentality.
