Hours: 30-40 hours per week, between 9.00am-6.00pm.
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated individual who has a customer service background, enthusiasm for live comedy & music, and would like to work within a busy events company.
The candidate will assist in the day-to-day management of The Glee Club’s Box Office. This involves being the first point of contact for customers; handling sales and enquiries; and working closely with our Box Office Manager to fulfil administrative duties, issue sales reports and develop a full working knowledge of our bespoke ticketing system.
The candidate must have a keen eye for detail, be able to work as part of a team, consistently provide high levels of customer service, and have worked in a similar position previously.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service through a wide range of mediums
- Quickly developing a thorough working knowledge of The Glee
- Administration of on-going ticket sales and booking reports for all shows
- Administration of ticket agency allocations and bookings
- Maintaining our customer database and updating customer details where necessary
- A competent user of pay systems
- Passing quality lead information to Sales/Marketing
- Providing excellent communication to the operational side of the business
With the other members of the team you will:
- Understand and promote The Glee Club
- Be IT and digitally literate
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be open to shift flexibility and have good availability- including Saturdays and evenings
- Manage and organise your own workflow
- Understand the importance of good communication and service in all aspects of the brand
Requirements
* Experience in a customer service role
* A love of live comedy & music
* Good communicator
* A keen eye for attention to detail and fantastic organisational skills
* Intermediate or above experience of Microsoft Office or Google G Suite
Desired Experience
* Customer service experience within a Box Office or Events role
* Experience with Wordpress
* Degree level education
