About the Role - Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant The school is seeking a passionate practitioner to deliver targeted phonics support across EYFS and KS1. Your role will include: Delivering Read Write Inc (RWI) interventions to individual pupils and small groups Supporting pupils who require additional help with early reading, blending, segmenting and decoding Tracking progress and feeding back to class teachers and the phonics lead Working closely with experienced teachers, parallel year groups and the school's literacy coordinator Helping maintain the school's strong reading culture Ensuring sessions are engaging, structured and well-paced Supporting class-based learning when required Creating an encouraging and motivating environment for all learnersThis role would suit someone who is confident, proactive and able to lead high-quality intervention sessions independently.
