Electrical Tradesperson

Are you a Level 3 NVQ Qualified Electrician? Do you have experience or electrical maintenance and minor new works? Would you liketo work in the healthcare environment? If so, we have an exciting new opportunity at UH Bristol and Weston.
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Estates Team as an Electrical Tradesperson. This rare opportunity offersan individual the experience of working with a complex large healthcare estate and contributing to improving patient experience.
You'll join an experienced and dedicated mechanical team, working as part of a larger estate's workforce of around 100 people. We provide an extensive training package to support you in understanding a complex healthcare estate.
The ideal candidate will have:-
* Have an understanding of health and safety in the workplace
* Be a team player and clear communicator
* Have experience in fault finding in electrical network
* Be able to participate to the on call rota
Main duties of the job
On a day to day basis, you typically will:-
* Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs
* Undertake routine maintenance (PPM) of electrical systems
* Liaise with customers and other key stakeholders with regards to electrical maintenance and minor new work schemes

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* You will be a qualified craftsman
* Must possess evidence of completing an approved Electrical Trade Apprenticeship
* Understanding and evidence of current Health and Safety legislation training relating to areas of work
Knowledge and Experience
* Experienced in fault finding
* Experience of Maintenance & installation work.
* Experience of working in Healthcare building maintenance environment or equivalent service environment
Skills
* Good all round knowledge of buildings.
* Able to work from PDA & written instruction.
* A current driving licence & willing to drive a Trust owned vehicle.
