Learning Support Assistant - Graduate Position
Are you a graduate who wants to use your skills to help young people through their learning? This Learning Support Assistant - Graduate Position is in a fantastic Secondary School in Bromley. The school is looking to expand its team and recruit a dedicated and passionate graduate to actively support its students in a caring environment. This is a September 2025 start position for the full academic year.
In this role, you will support students regularly in intervention sessions, assisting with academic weaknesses while helping them develop socially. You will report on student progress and work closely with experienced teachers and SLTs.
If you are seeking valuable experience to build on before progressing in your career, this role is ideal. The role is suitable for those aspiring to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker, Counsellor, etc.
What you will do
* Support students across KS3, KS4 & KS5 with subject teachers and SLTs
* Lead support sessions for students in 1:1 and small group settings
* Encourage an inclusive and positive environment for students
* Provide support to the school's SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, S&L, etc)
* September 2025 Start – Full-time position
* Salary: 110 - 115 per day – Term time only
* Located in Bromley

Applicant requirements
* Hold a degree in Psychology or a related course from a reputable university
* Be compassionate, caring and patient
* Ability to work effectively with the wider team and be a team player
* Passion for the secondary curriculum and supporting young people
* Aspiring roles such as Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker, or Counsellor
