We are excited to offer two fantastic opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and Fluent Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistants to join our warm and community-focused school in the heart of Neath from September 2026.

About the Role
* As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally within a Welsh-medium learning environment.
The role will involve:
* Supporting pupils in class, in small groups and through targeted interventions.
* Helping children develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
* Providing emotional support and helping pupils regulate and engage positively throughout the school day.
* Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), behavioural needs or emotional wellbeing needs where appropriate.
* Assisting with engaging classroom activities, wellbeing support and outdoor learning opportunities.
* Building strong and positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
* Helping create a calm, safe and nurturing environment where every child can succeed.
* No two days are ever the same, and the role offers a hugely rewarding opportunity to have a lasting impact on young learners during some of the most important years of their development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
