About The Role
Account Handler for Lloyd & Whyte in Billericay. You will process vehicle adjustments, MID updates, liaise with clients and insurers on vehicle and fleet related queries, perform data input, processing and invoicing for new clients.
Salary: Up to £40,000 plus bonus
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Location: Billericay – Hybrid
What You’ll Be Doing
* Handle daily client telephone enquiries and manage policy amendments on fleet policies, including MID updates and discussions on risk with insurers.
* Negotiate terms and quotes with underwriters.
* Manage account renewals, chase renewal payments, and ensure file closures.
* Perform vehicle amendments and adjustments, updating the Motor Insurance Database.
* Process new business, set up finance, and issue documentation.
What You’ll Need To Have
* Proven experience in the UK insurance industry.
* Outcome‑focused, self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage your own time, prioritise work, and meet deadlines without supervision.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A proactive approach to team contribution through ideas, initiatives, and concepts.
