Job Description: Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by managing sales of our products and services across a designated geographic area. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring that our solutions deliver measurable value.
You will work both independently and collaboratively to generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and client visits, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic plans to ensure revenue growth across the company’s products and services.
* Manage new account sales and drive multi-product and emerging product growth.
* Execute proactive competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns to increase market share.
* Establish and maintain effective communication with key executives and decision-makers to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through consistent, meaningful account interactions - conducted in person, by phone, and via email.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, configuration designers, and application programmers to deliver high-quality, timely, and fit-for-purpose solutions tailored to client needs.
* Compose and deliver presentations to management and clients, highlighting business results, forecasts, and growth opportunities.
* Develop and implement business plans and procedures to maximise performance and profitability across assigned accounts.
* Create customized proposals and presentations based on individual customer needs and strategic objectives.
* Represent the company professionally at client meetings, trade events, and industry conferences.
Your Qualifications:
* Fluency in two of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French (each at B2 level or above - as well as fluency in English.
* Minimum of 7 years’ sales experience, ideally in B2B or technical solution sales.
* Experience in laboratory informatics, particularly with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at multiple organizational levels.
* Strong time management, decision-making, relationship-building, presentation, and organizational skills.
* Professional appearance and presentation with a confident, client-focused approach.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as business needs require.
