A well-established secondary school in Northumberland is seeking an MFL Teacher to join its Languages department. The role includes teaching French, Spanish or German across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities for suitably experienced candidates.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and structured language lessons, build pupils’ confidence in speaking and listening, and drive strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.

Key responsibilities
6. Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
7. Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)

9. Monitor progress and contribute to intervention strategies
The ideal candidate
10. QTS (or equivalent)
11. Experience teaching at least one modern foreign language at secondary level
12. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
13. Commitment to raising attainment
