Role Overview
Our focus is the successful delivery of projects to our customers. This role is responsible for overall project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion—ensuring alignment with NGUK strategy, standards, policies, and processes.
The Project Manager manages small-scale projects or supports large-scale project delivery alongside a Senior Project Manager. You will lead within the Project Management Office (PMO), aiming to establish a centre of excellence by adopting best practices and improving our delivery methods for the benefit of our business and customers.
Your responsibilities include managing project outcomes, supporting financial oversight, working closely with customers to manage expectations, and ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. You may also be deployed in a customer team and will work regularly in Cheltenham.
Operational Expectations
This role requires an understanding of project management tools and their application. You will need to gain and maintain a detailed understanding of the customer’s domain to ensure our products meet their requirements. You will work independently across multiple delivery packages, supporting the PMO community and reporting to a Senior Project Manager.
