Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Daily Nanny for a single mother family with one child, aged three. This is an ASAP start with the nanny initially based in Castle Cary, Somerset (with accommodation provided) until July 2026, when the family relocates permanently to their home in Hampstead, NW London.
This opportunity is perfect for a fun, sporty, and creative London based nanny who enjoys an active role with a muck-in attitude. The role is offered on a live-out basis in London.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Daily Nanny for three-year-old boy in Hampstead, include:
* Providing high-quality childcare for the little boy
* All nursery duties including preparing meals and snacks
* Planning and facilitating engaging, age-appropriate activities (sporty, adventurous, and creative)
* Cooking nutritious meals for the child
* Light housekeeping tasks related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, loading dishwasher)
* Willing to muck in with general household tasks as needed
* Occasional travel with the family (a couple of times per year)
Candidates must be/have:
* Significant experience working as a nanny with similar aged children
* Valid driving licence (essential)
* Fluent English speaker
* Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent references from previous employers
* Right to work in the UK
* Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and occasional weekend days

Hours
Full-time: 40 hours per week (8 hour days) from Monday – Friday. Three days per week: 07:00 start, two days per week: 14:00 start.
Flexibility required for one weekend day every other weekend (exact schedule tbc).
Location
Initially Castle Cary, Somerset but then Hampstead, London (from July 2026 onwards).
Accommodation available at the second family home in Somerset, if required.
Salary
£60,000.
