Regional Manager Midlands/South
to 55K + car allowance + bonus
A leading leisure brand is looking for an experienced Regional Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of multi-site leisure venues with swimming pools in the Midlands and around the M25 and drive commercial success, operational excellence, and outstanding customer experiences.
Reporting into the Head of Operations, this is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape regional strategy, manage P&L performance, develop high-performing management teams, and support the opening of new venues. You'll be commercially astute, people-focused, and confident leading teams across geographically dispersed sites.
As Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for:
End-to-end performance of multi-site venues across your region
Programming a large learn to swim operation of 1000+ participants/centre.
Driving revenue growth, efficiencies, and KPI performance
Leading, mentoring, and developing venue managers and their teams
Full financial control, including budgets and profitability
Maintaining exceptional operational standards and a premium customer journey
Workforce planning, compliance, and risk management
Collaborating with Learning & Development to raise quality and capability
Using insight and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Reporting performance and strategic insight to senior leadership
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
Proven multi-site leadership experience (leisure, fitness, childcare, education or similar)
Ideally have a pool plant qualification/swim school knowledge.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing KPIs and budgets
A collaborative, motivating leadership style with the ability to coach and influence
Excellent organisation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
A commitment to high-quality, customer-focused delivery
Confidence working remotely and travelling regularly
A full UK driving licence
In addition to a competitive basic salary of up to 55K, there is a performance related bonus paid quarterly plus a car allowance.
Given the location of the centres an ideal base location would be in Northants. Beds, Bucks or Herts or adjacent areas.
