Job Description
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) duties:
* A small amount of transactional duties across both the sales and purchase ledger (processing invoices etc.)
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Assisting with audit
* Month end closure (bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments etc.)
* Trial balance sheet
* Ad-hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) criteria:
* Previous experience in an educational establishment would be ideal but NOT essential
* Finance experience in a similar role
* Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, formulas etc.)
* Ability to communicate with the wider team
* Commutable distance to Bristol 1/2 x a week
