Support Worker Job Description

What does this Support Worker job involve? Duties to include but are not limited to:

1. Providing compassionate care and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
2. Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring comfort and dignity.
3. Following established procedures to maintain a safe environment and safeguard well-being.
4. Developing and implementing personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
5. Promoting independence and quality of life for those in your care.
6. Communicating effectively with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
7. Engaging in meaningful activities that enhance social and emotional well-being.
8. Holding a Full Manual UK Driving License and having access to your own vehicle.

10. Demonstrates a caring attitude, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of those supported.
11. Exhibits strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

13. Willingness to learn and adapt.
14. Follows care plans and safeguarding procedures.
15. Previous experience in care is beneficial but not required; comprehensive training is provided.
16. Empathetic, patient, and eager to make a positive impact.

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 18 hours/week
