Join Our Team as a Domestic Assistant

Goodwill Healthcare Services Limited (GHS CARE) is seeking multiple experienced and enthusiastic Domestic Assistants to join our healthcare and residential settings in Darlington and Durham on a rota and shift basis.

Position Type: Zero Hours Contract (Temporary)
Pay Rate: £ £18.32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, communal areas, and facilities
* Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
* Ensure infection control standards are met at all times
* Dispose of waste safely and in line with policies
* Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock
* Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage promptly
* Support a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for service users
* Communicate professionally with staff, service users, families, and visitors
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 months' experience in a healthcare or domestic setting preferred
* Knowledge of cleaning products, COSHH, and infection control procedures
* Qualifications needed for Domestic Assistant Position
* Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
* Active DBS
* Driver (preferred but not essential
Working Conditions:
* 12-hour shifts
* Days / Nights / Weekends
* Rota / Shift basis
